We got busy in the kitchen...

with a simple strawberry🍓, tomato 🍅 and fresh basil version that is out of this world!  A new twist on Bruschetta on our Poppy Seed Demi Baguette! We've elevated the traditional bruschetta by incorporating fresh strawberries🍓 into our topping, creating a zesty, spicy, and fruity combination that is sure to delight your senses. The juicy sweetness of the strawberries perfectly complements the savoury flavour of the bruschetta, resulting in a mouthwatering explosion of flavour that is simply irresistible. This new twist on a classic dish is sure to become a new favourite for anyone looking for a delicious and unique culinary experience.

Alkeme Poppy Seed Demi Baguettes
Cherry Tomatoes
1/2 Red Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
Basil Leaves
2 tsp Balsamic
2 tsp Olive Oil


To make this dish, start by preheating your oven to 350 F and brushing the baguette slices with a little bit of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt over the slices to bring out their flavour. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven until they are nice and warm. This will only take a few minutes, so be sure to keep an eye on them to avoid burning.

Next, prepare the topping by mixing together some chopped cherry tomatoes🍅, red onion, garlic, and fresh basil. For an unexpected twist, add some sliced strawberries to the mix. Drizzle the mixture with balsamic and olive oil, and season it with freshly cracked pepper.

Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and spoon the topping over each slice. The combination of warm bread and fresh, flavourful toppings is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
